Bank Holiday Nearly Here…

In Rambles on October 26, 2006 by alanswan

Hello again, busy little blogger today. Here are Thursday’s shownotes to the items we covered. Talkwise we mentioned the statistics from a Loadzajobs-dot-ie survey that revealed we all suffer from the Monday morning blues, RSA winter road safety campaign and an official survey that reveals women are more grumpy than men in the morning. Elsewhere the answer to the teaser was ‘Dice’, one of the only words in the world that is pluralised with the addition of the letter C, a singular Die becomes Dice when pluralised. You learn something new everyday…..

Music wise on the show here is todays list, ARTIST/SONG: Robbie Williams-The Road To Mandalay, Razorlight-America, Majella Murphy-Dreamin, The 4 Of Us-Whats To Come, The Supremes-Baby Love, Garth Brooks-Standing Outside The Fire, Lighthouse Family-Lifted, Billy Joel-Its Still Rock and Roll To Me, Sting-Always On Your Side, Van Morrison-Precious Time, The Bangles-Walk Like An Egyptian, The Boo Radleys-Wake Up Boo, Take That-It Only Takes A Minute Girl and CLASSIC NO1 @ QUARTER TO ONE: Gary Puckett from 1968 with ‘Young Girl’, Samantha Mumba-Baby Come On Over. Finally Jim G was in fine form with all the gardening questions. Thanks as always for all your emails, texts and calls, they really do make the show. Have a good Thursday, more tomorrow. AS
