Hello again, here are todays shownotes for Thursday. If you can’t find on the blog a subject we were talking about on the show today then don’t hesitate to drop us a line to takeabreak@kclr96fm,com. We will point you in the right direction.

Today we talked about the text service AQA (Any Question Answered). In the last 2 years the researchers behind the site have answered over 3.5 million queries and have now released a book with the best questions and answers. One great one from the book is “Which actress wore the same coat in all her movies?” Answer at the bottom of this blog entry. Elsewhere on the show we talked about the New York plane crash, Tourism switching to online pr, how a priest from Kilkenny is accused of stealing $8.7m from the church plate collection and the sad news of Benito Martinez (alledged to be the oldest person in the world who passsed away aged 126)

Music from the show, Artist/Song: Peter Gabriel-Solsbury Hill, Take That-Patience, Razorlight-America, Chris Rea-Auberge, Sophie B Hawkins-As I Lay Me Down, Black-Wonderful Life, The Frank and Walters-Miles and Miles, Sheryl Crow-Always On Your Side, Elvis Presley-She’s Not You, Scissor Sisters-I Don’t Feel Like Dancing, Stereophonics-Have a Nice Day, Eleanor McEvoy-Non Smoking Single Female, Jackie Wilson-Reet Petite, Mary J Blige and U2 – One, Classic Number One @ Quarter to One from 1956 Dean Martin-Memories Are Made of This, Westlife-Mandy.

As always tomorrow is Take a Breakers choice where you the listener gets the chance to pick the music for the whole show from 11am-1pm. By the way, I would love to hear from you if you stumbled across this blog without hearing the show, check us out live from 11am GMT at Drop us a line and we’ll say hello. Its mad, in just the last 3 days this blog has had hits from Australia – Beachmere, Queensland, Canada – Saint-Laurent, Quebec, Lithuania – Vilnius, Vilniaus Apskritis, Malaysia –  Kampong Batu Tiga Suku, Selangor and United States – Allentown, Pennsylvania.  You gotta love the net… and site tracker!

Thats it for today, tomorrow I’m bring my digital camera on the road to take some shots of the show behind the scenes, which will be posted over the weekend. Also (fingers crossed) it looks like we’ve sorted out the show podcast and it will be online in the next 2 weeks or so. All in all busy times ahead. Have a good Thursday – Alan
